He is survived by: his children, Toni M. Whitaker (Dan Hall) of Memphis and Scott W. Whitaker of Mason; his granddaughter Casey Whitaker Hall (Collin Whitaker Hall) of Florence, AL; and his brothers, Michael Wright Whitaker (Sharon Whitaker) of Mason and Tom Forgey Whitaker (Betty Carol Whitaker) of Oakland. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Covington Funeral Home (3499 Hwy 51 S, Covington, TN 38019). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (11458 TN-59, Mason, TN 38049).
