He was predeceased by: his parents, William Green and Dessie Green; his siblings, Jean Byrd, Shelby Ray Green and Mack Green; and his grandson Jeffery Wayne Green.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Byrd Green; his children, William Wayne Green, Jr. of Mason, Laura Elizabeth Green Mills (Clay) of Erin, TN and Rebecca Lynn Green Kirby (Anthony) of Mason; and his sister Peggy Green Byrd. He is also survived by four grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
