She was predeceased by: her husband Verlin Grissom; and her sons, Eddie Grissom, Harvey Grissom, Darrell Grissom, Terry Grissom and Mike Grissom.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Stabnow of Maynardville, Diane McGinnis (Don) of Corryton and Peggy Leonard (John) of Knoxville. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hines Creek Cemetery (892 Hinds Creek Rd, Maynardville, TN 37807).
