He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Beason and Stella Beason (Sweet); his son Danny Lee Beason; his son-in-law Mark Allen Langley; and his siblings, Arthur Beason Jr., Ralph Beason, Ruby Mynatt, Helen McCoy, Paris Beason and Eugene Beason.
He is survived by : his wife Artie Belle Beason (Beeler); his children, Jeffrey Beason of Knoxville, Teresa Ledford (Roy) of Knoxville and Karen Munsey (David) of Maynardville; and his sisters, Polly Shockley of Knoxville and Patsy Gardner of Maynardville. He is also survived by five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
