It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Edna (Keene) McCarty of Maynardville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Garey McCarty; her granddaughter Amy Whaley; and her parents, Thad Keene and Willie Keene. She is survived by : her daughter Jeanne; her son-in-law Chuck Whaley, Jr.; and her granddaughter Erin Whaley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
