He is survived by: his wife Anne Harrell; his sister Vicki Johnson (Rufus); his children, Barbara Ramsey (Randy), Loren Benson (Paula), Herbert Harrell III, Valerie Goble (Allen) and Mika Lay (Jack); his grandchildren, James Ramsey (Breanna), Herbert Harrell IV (Hannah), Hannah Ledbetter (Andy), Kathryn Rickman (Tyler), Parker Harrell (Montgomery), Ayden Harrell (Madison), Isaac Harrell, Isaiah Harrell, Mercy Harrell, Alyssa Tinsley, Zachary Goble, Madison Best (Jordan) and Morgan Baum (Brandon); and his great grandchildren, Mia, Barrett Ramsey, Emrie, EveAnna Rickman, Cora Harrell, Sam Ledbetter, Hadley Best, Jackson Baum and Hudson Harrell.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807).
