He was predeceased by: his parents, Grey Kitts and Edith Kitts (Raley); his son Douglas Kitts; and his brothers, Hollis and Bobby Kitts.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie; his son-in-law Tim Brooks; his daughter Misty Kitts (John Miller); his daughter-in-law Sandy Kitts; his grandson Timmy Brooks; his great grandchild Serinity Brooks; and his siblings, Mike Kitts and Ann Fields. He is also survived by nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.
