He is survived by: his wife Debra; his children, Dawne Hicks of Michigan, Rhonda Turner (Randy) of Maynardville, Keith (Dee) of Maynardville and Glen (Ramona) of Clinton; his stepson Brian Compton of Kentucky; his sister-in-law Kathleen Hicks of Knoxville; and his sister Arlene Burgess of Alabama. He is also survived by Ten grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807).
