He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Herbert, Nell Perry, Roscoe and Mossie Collins; his father Alfred Perry; his wife Janice Perry; his son Craig Perry; his grandson Eli Smith; and his brothers, Alfred "Cotton" Perry Jr., David Perry and Ronnie Perry.
He is survived by: his mother Edna Perry; his siblings, Sue Coffey (Clyde), Mary Chandler (Duane) and Bobby Perry (Charolette); his children, Shaun Perry (Sonya), Stevie Cooper, Brayden Perry and Jessica Smith (Jason); his grandchildren, Hannah, Austin, Makayla, Justin, Isaiah Perry, Kayden Kitts, Lily Crowe, Jasmine Thompson (Chad), Hayley Davis (Bryan), Savanna and Jason Smith Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Colton, Kinsley Thompson and Delilah Davis. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807). A procession was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807). A burial was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Dyer Cemetery (169 Misty View Ln, Powder Springs, TN 37848).
In lieu of flowers, donations for expenses will be accepted at the funeral home.
