She was predeceased by: her husband Willie David Cox Sr. (Little); her parents, Hobart Cook and Mossie Cook; her children, Jimmy Ray Cox Sr. and Connie Gail Atkins; her siblings, Carlyle Cook, Edgar Cook, Carolyn Norris, Oval Cox and Estelle Caldwell; and her grandson Jimmy Ray Cox Jr..
She is survived by: her son Willie David Cox Jr. (Susan); her grandchildren, Julie Cox, Courtney Sizemore (Chris), Taylor Cox (Kadie), Lakin Brown (Steven), Deana Thomas (Jeremy), Ava and Brody Biggs; her great grandchildren, Morgan, Tucker, Nikki, Abi, Kelsey, Jackson, Raelynn, Kendall, Titus, Baylin, Zion, Ivey and Stetson; and her siblings, Charles Cook, Wanda Perry (Carol) of Christine Kiser, K. D., Nell Southerland (Roe) and Ted (Joan). She is also survived by five great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Home (228 Main St, Maynardville, TN 37807). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cox Cemetery (1615 Hickory Valley Rd, Maynardville, TN 37807).
