He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Jane Irwin; his parents, Ossie Irwin and Ella Irwin (Jones); his siblings, Carl, Billy Irwin, Dorothy Ann Irwin, Wilma Flatford and Linda Patterson; his granddaughter Amy Overton Morse; and his son-in-law Scott Reed.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Peace (Larry), Rhonda Irwin, Tina Irwin, Sue Overton (David), Janie Ingram, Joe Peace (Karen), Charlotte Howard (Rick) and Lisa Little (Lynn); his grandchildren, Kayla England (Cory), Taylor Brown (Josh), Cody Flatford, Hayley McDaniel, Hallie McDaniel, Billy Hill (Cheyenne), Emily Overton, Jacob Ingram, C. J. Peace (Tosha), Amanda Muncey (Jason), Vanessa Fowler (Brad), Valerie Bales (A. J.), Marcus Little (Kayla), Dakota Pledge (Katie) and Noah Pledge (Kayla); and also, Andy and Brittany Sellers. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and special friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Home (228 Main St, Maynardville, TN 37807). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 3:30 PM at the New Loyston Memorial Gardens (Maynardville, TN 37807).
