She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Noe and Marie Noe Brisky; and her husband Clarence M. Poteet. She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Schmalz (Dave) of Michigan and Donna Poteet of Maynardville; her sisters, Patricia Perfetto and Marlene Schupp (Roger); her grandchildren, Michael Schmalz (Sarah) and Amanda Hanson (Nick); and her great grandchildren, Charles Schmalz and Ethan Reynolds. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Home (228 Main St, Maynardville, TN 37807). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the East Tn Veterans Cemetery (TN-168 & E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Tennessee 37920). A burial was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (TN-168 & E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Tennessee 37920).
