He was predeceased by : his wife Louella Loy Evans; his parents, Woodrow Evans and Vennie Evans; and his brother Willie Evans. He is survived by : his daughter Sonia Hill; his son-in-law Kendall Hill; his granddaughter Izzy Hill; his brother Bobby Evans (Charlene); and his siblings-in-law, Darlene Evans (Sue Breeding) and Wayne Loy (Billy).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Union County Humane Society or Paulette Volunteer Fire Department.
