He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Flatford and Wilma Flatford (Irwin); his siblings, Danny Flatford and Patricia Flatford; and his niece Kami Flatford.

He is survived by : his siblings, Jeff Flatford (Joyce), Phil Flatford (Punky), Diana White (Brian) and Deana Posey (Rowdy); his sister-in-law Charlotte Flatford; and his close friend Leona.
