He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Lacey; his parents, Vincent Lacey and Ruth Lacey; his siblings, Chuck Lacey and Terry Freeman; and his stepchildren, Stanley and Connie Fowler.

He is survived by: his siblings, Phyllis Clark (Tom), Carolyn Craig (Mike), William Lacey (Melissa) and Jerry Lacey; and his stepchildren, Allen Fowler, Gary Fowler, Sharon Tipton (Freddie) and Tammy Farmer (Frank). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Fountain City Chapel (2829 Rennoc Rd, Knoxville, TN 37918).
