It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Faye Shelton Sherlin of McDonald, Tennessee, born in Ooltewah, Tennessee, who passed away on June 30, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leona "Omie" Gates Shelton and John M. Shelton; her brothers, Johnny and James Shelton; and her cousin Phyllis Banther.

She is survived by: her husband Charles "Gerald" Sherlin of McDonald; her daughter Karen Sosebee; her grandchildren, Lacey Sosebee, Mikey Sosebee and Taylor Sosebee; her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Sylar, Gage, Lily, Saydee Sosebee, Noah and Bryson Sosebee; and her cousin Bill Gates (Debbie). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
