He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter McGill and Emma McGill; and his siblings, Ralph "Chick" McGill, Bobby McGill, Betty Davis (Ed), Mary Parker (Ronnie) and Della Rodie.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte McGill; his daughters, Theresa McGill, Tonia Ricketts (Steve) and Emmy McGill; his grandchildren, Brittany Anderson (Patrick Ellis), Sabrina Critchfield (Jamey) and BJ Brownell; his great grandchildren, Hannah Quinn (Austin Shelly), Alyssa Anderson, Jason Anderson, Charlee Critchfield, Kalahan Critchfield and Walter Hayes Critchfield; and his sisters, Lorene Swafford (Edgar), Dorothy Williamson (Bill) and Susie Hall. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 4657 Spring Place Rd SE, Cleveland, TN 37323. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
