He was predeceased by: his parents, Gracie Pauline Swearns Travis and James Burton Travis; and his siblings, Margaret Travis, Paul Travis, Rickey Travis, Ira Travis and Ralph Travis.
He is survived by: his children, Jacob Travis, Caleb King (Nicole Davis), Brandy Tayor, Leigh-Ann Teasley (Brian Wallace) and Raylnn Collier; his grandchildren, Stephen Fritz, Jared Paul, Ambraihia Taylor, Ezra Workman (Rashawonda), Eli Travis, Theo Davis and Reid Davis; his great grandchildren, Nevaeh Workman, Harper White, Kal-El Cottle, Royal Esfandyari and Naleah Redbear; and his siblings, David Travis, William Travis, Douglas Travis and Shirley Moore. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home - Waverly (2400 TN-13, Waverly, TN 37185). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
