He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah Bowden and Minnie Bowden; and his wife Mae Kathyrene Bowden. He is survived by: his daughters, Melinda Bowden of McKenzie, Sherrye Jeanmarie (Derrick) of Hughesville, MD and Minnie Neal (Greg) of Memphis; his sisters, Helen Bowden and Alice Bowden; and his grandchildren, Charity Coleman Cox, Jeri Coleman, Xavier Williams, Shari Jeanmarie, Quentin Bowden, Elijah Jeanmarie, Travatia Bowden and Zaria Bowden.
