It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Bowden (McKenzie, Tennessee), who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah Bowden and Minnie Bowden; and his wife Mae Kathyrene Bowden. He is survived by: his daughters, Melinda Bowden of McKenzie, Sherrye Jeanmarie (Derrick) of Hughesville, MD and Minnie Neal (Greg) of Memphis; his sisters, Helen Bowden and Alice Bowden; and his grandchildren, Charity Coleman, Jeri Coleman, Xavier Williams, Shari Jeanmarie, Quentin Bowden, Elijah Jeanmarie, Travatia Bowden and Zaria Bowden.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home (1740 Cedar St, McKenzie, TN 38201). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
