In the sacred silence of farewell, Phillip is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Phillip's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his father Phillip "Buddy" Rorer. He is survived by: his mother Janie Burroughs Hopewell; his stepfather John Hopwell; his brother David Rorer (Reid Howell); his sibling's children, Nathan Rorer (Bethany), Hannah White (David) and Rachel Rorer; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Dallen, Malaki, Lainey, Kaydence and Kaydrienne.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home (1740 Cedar St, McKenzie, TN 38201).
