She was predeceased by: her parents, William W. Scarbrough and Mary Lee Walker Scarbrough; and her husband Darriel Abell. She is survived by: her children, Felicia Day (Donald) of White House and Kevin Patterson (Nancy) of Yellville, AR; her siblings, Diane Knott of McKenzie, Marshall Scarbrough of Clarksville, Billy Scarbrough (Pat) of McKenzie and Edd Scarbrough of McKenzie; her grandchildren, John Day (Rosa), Lauren Spires (Rob) and Logan Patterson; and her great grandchildren, John, Ella, Mary and Suzy.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Seminary Methodist Church (1765 Seminary Rd, McKenzie, TN 38201). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
