She was predeceased by: her parents, John Walter Simpson, Sr. and Susie Belle Byrd Simpson; and her daughter Pamela Tillman. She is survived by: her husband Robert Whitmore of McKenzie; her daughters, Melissa Lovell (Frankie) of Milan, Ellen Bates of McKenzie and Debora Massey (Keith) of Trezevant; and her grandchildren, Dana Lenox, Wanda Camper, Jeremy Tillman, Jessica Dotson, Tony Dotson, Tyler Lovell, Hannah Massey and Jonathan Massey. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
