He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Sherwood and Lula Mae Ross Sherwood; his sister Patsy Sherwood Melton; and his grandchildren, Aaron Sherwood and Mary Elizabeth Sherwood.
He is survived by: his wife Genia Gill Sherwood; his children, LaTisha Karnes (Keff) and Ross Sherwood (Ashley); his granddaughter McKenna Sherwood; and his nephews, Torey Green of McKenzie and Adrian Green (Regina) of McKenzie.
