He is survived by: his wife Julie Gilbert of McKenzie; his sons, William Gilbert (Ali) of Englewood, FL and Michael Gilbert (Liza) of Raleigh, NC; his stepchildren, Lindsey (Jacob) and Brad Featherstone (Brittany) of Gleason, TN.; his siblings, Ellen Eason (Jack) of Burkeville, VA, Linda Gilbert of Stasburg, VA, Bob Gilbert and Rodger Gilbert; and his grandchildren, Maggie, Charlie, Maranatha, Phoebe, Rebecca, Mikey, Zoe, Noah, Landon and Addison.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (2209 N Meridian St, Greenfield, TN 38230). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
