He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Smith and Virgie Simmons Smith; his son-in-law Larry McGregor; and his brothers, Barton, Lynn and Don Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Smith (Pattie) of McMinnville and Charlotte McGregor of McMinnville; his grandchildren, Stacey Love (Josh) of Smithville, TN, Nathan McGregor of McMinnville, Laura Dunlap (Kevin) of McMinnville and Leslie Cherry (Brian) of Murfreesboro; and his great grandchildren, Cooper Love, Cody Love, Lotte McGregor, Jackson Dunlap, Brooks Dunlap, Wilson Dunlap, Leyton Cherry and Braylee Cherry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
