We announce the death of Douglas Gray Turner of McMinnville, Tennessee, who passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 77. Douglas will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his mother Nora Mae Griffin Turner; and his siblings, Eugene, Wayne, Bud, Charles Turner, Earlene Nicks, Hazel Stevens, Janie Cantrell, Joyce Griffith and Anita Brown.

He is survived by: his wife Patsy Ann Turner of McMinnville, TN; his children, Kip Turner (Kim) of Liberty, TN, Chad Turner (Jennifer) of McMinnville, TN and Melissa Montandon (Jason) of McMinnville, TN; his grandchildren, Zackery Turner, Keisha Turner, Elijah Turner, Hannah Songer, McCall Turner, Marlie Gibbs and Sloan Montandon; his great grandchildren, Elaina Turner, Allie Cook, Walker Turner and Canyon Gibbs; his sister Karen Mathis; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Turner, Carolyn Turner, Frances Winfrey, Patsy Greene and Felix Greene.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Earleyville Church of Christ (2188 Short Mountain Rd, McMinnville, TN 37110).
