She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Cheatham and Tennie Mae Davis Hillis; and her siblings, Georgia Gorman, Mary Hines, Enzie George, Shirley Manus, Betty Minton, Gracie Hillis, Sarah Southard, Marion Hillis of Lewis Hillis, F. C, Hillis, Jr. and James Hillis.
She is survived by: her daughter Janice Capshaw of McMinnville, TN; her grandchildren, Calleb Capshaw of Knoxville, TN and Brittney Capshaw of McMinnville, TN; and her close friend Lola Griffith of McMinnville, TN.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to Helping Hands Ministry.
