He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Vernon Ross and Margaret C. Rosenbalm Ross; his siblings, Doris Wasson, Carol Guilinger, Millie Galusha, Robert Ross, James "Chester" Ross and Bill Ross; and his son-in-law Ransom Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Marj Ross; his children, Mark Ross of Murfreesboro, TN and Anne Jones (Paul Twomey) of Ringgold, GA; and his grandchild Emilee Jones (Tanner Huckstep) of Chattanooga, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
