He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest M. Paris and Clareta Jones Paris; and his brother Ernest L. Paris. He is survived by: his wife Edna Paris of McMinnville, TN; his daughter Misty Collins (Alan) of McMinnville, TN; his grandchildren, Grant and Leah Collins; and his sister Dorcas Paris Shackelford of Madison, TN. He is also survived by three nieces and one nephew.
