He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Peterson and Dorothy Luna Peterson; and his sister Joyce Peterson. He is survived by: his sister Linda Brooks (Frank) of McMinnville; his sibling's children, Stephanie Vaughn (Scott) of Manchester and Richard Milburn (Meredith) of Dalton, GA; his great-niece Lillian Vaughn; and his great-nephew Aaron Vaughn.
