He was predeceased by: his parents, William Smartt (Mary) and Christine Bates Wimley; his wife Tina Anderson Smartt; his granddaughter Nashea Smartt; his sister Emily Wimley; and his father-in-law Charles Anderson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brandy Brooks (Jeremy) of McMinnville and Latisha Johnson of McMinnville; his grandchildren, Taylor Moore (Bailey), Jordan Muncey, Hunter Johnson, Joshua Johnson, Christian Brooks and Ada Brooks; his great grandchildren, Kentlee, Charliegh, Reese, Cheyanne, Ryatt and Lucy; his brother Russell Smartt (Lori); his mother-in-law Helen Anderson of McMinnville; his brother-in-law Joey Anderson (Shannon); and his nephew Caleb Smartt.
