He is survived by: his sons, Jerrod Sims (Amber) and Jacob Sims; his parents, Bertha Louise Tindell (Paul) and Charles Thomas "Tommy" Sims (Pat); his grandchildren, Haley Sims, Michael Williams, Samantha Sims, Justin Sims and Tori Sims; his siblings, Thomas Wade Sims (Denise) and Vicki Lynn Sims; his nieces, Amber and Candas; and his caregiver Sherrie Hildebrand.
