He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Eugene" Powell and Eunice Aughinbaugh Powell; his siblings, Melba McBride (Glyen), Freddy "Butch" Powell and Linda Jones (Robert); his brothers-in-law, Charles Jones and Averal Keaton; and his grandmother Jean Jones of McMinnville, TN.
He is survived by: his siblings, Christine Prince (Paul) and Carl Michael Powell of McMinnville, TN; his sister-in-law Bobbie Powell of McMinnville, TN; and his close friend Lonnie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the High Funeral Home (101 College St, McMinnville, TN 37110). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
