With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Charles Padgett of McMinnville, Tennessee, born in Monterey, Tennessee, who passed away on December 26, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sevier Padgett and Ova Delphene Judkins Padgett; and his siblings, Ruth Neal and Paul Padgett. He is survived by: his wife Marie Bond Padgett; his daughter Lorie Del Kesey (Ryan); his siblings, Rose Campbell, Wilma Fish and Ralph Padgett (Marilyn); his grandson Corbin Kesey; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Bond (Gewanda), Geneva Winfrey (Reece), Janie Phifer, Diane Bond, Audrey Morgan (Charles) and Wanda Neely (Randy).
Memorial donations may be made to the Gideon Bible Program and Meals on Wheels.
