With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Keith Prater of McMinnville, Tennessee, who passed away on July 21, 2025 at the age of 44. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Keith is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Keith's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his brother Brian Lee Prater. He is survived by: his parents, Donnie Prater of McMinnville, TN and Carol Goodwin of Smithville, TN.; his children, Lauren Marie Russell of Murfreesboro, TN, Emily Nichole Hilton of Murfreesboro, TN and Gage Prater (Alissa) of McMinnville, TN; his grandson Jasper; his brother Neil Prater (Laura McAbee) of McMinnville, TN; and his cousin Josh Barnes. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the High Funeral Home (101 College St, McMinnville, TN 37110). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
