Newman Cantrell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Newman Cantrell of McMinnville, Tennessee, who passed away on May 13, 2026, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Newman Houston and Dorothy Lillian Pepper Cantrell, Sr.; his parents-in-law, Larry and Shirley Evans; his sisters, Jerri Ann Adams and Teresa Johnson; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Evans.

He is survived by: his children, Houston Blake Cantrell (Lexie Melton) of McMinnville, TN, Baylee Fults (Blake Ballard) of Cookeville, TN and Karlee Ann Cantrell of McMinnville, TN; his grandchildren, Kyler Cantrell, Lane Cantrell, Walker Cantrell, Norah Coffman and Vera Blake Ballard; and his brothers-in-law, Alan Evans (Angie), David Evans (Missie) and Henry Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
