He is survived by: his children, Phillip Michael Buckner (Judy), Paul Lymon Buckner (Nona) and Sarah Beth Sandlin (William); his stepsons, Jeffrey Wayne Tubb (Ann) and John Alfred Tubb (Kim); his sister Polly Ann Smith (David); his grandchildren, Allyson Driver (Travis), Nathan Buckner, Valerie Tippett (Steve) and Emily Pierce (James); his great grandchildren, Delainee Driver, Kendall Buckner and Rowyn Buckner; his stepgrandchildren, John Ryan Tubb (Logan), Dillon Tubb (Erica), Katie Cooper (Ryan), Jeffrey Alan Tubb and Jacob Tubb; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Henley Tubb, Hudson Tubb, Hazel Cooper, Dawson Phillip Tubb, Reid Tubb and Ford Tubb.
A burial was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. View Cemetery (209 Mountain St, McMinnville, TN 37110).
