With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Kay Cantrell of McMinnville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sandra Kay Cantrell to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Buford Self and Thelma Lois Melton Self; her parents-in-law, Moses Aquilla and Silverree Cantrell; her niece Carla Self; her son-in-law Chris Roller; and her siblings-in-law, Julie Self, Sharron Hutchison and Malcom Cantrell.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Michael Aquilla (Whitey); her children, Jennifer Kay Cantrell and Brent Michael Cantrell (Kristy); her siblings, Diane Haley (Dale), Peggy Hale (Doug), Charles Self (Lynn), Larry Self and Jerry Self; her grandchildren, Casey Michael Aquilla Cantrell (LeeAnn), Coty Ray Cantrell (Jessica), Chase Dean Cantrell, Cameron Roller (Samantha), Caleb Roller (Ashley), Riley Cantrell, Kyle Johnson and Alyssa Roller; and her siblings-in-law, Gayle Cantrell and Mike Hutchison. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McMinnville Funeral Home (117 Underwood Rd, McMinnville, TN 37110). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel (117 Underwood Rd, McMinnville, TN 37110).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nursing Home Christmas program at Willow Branch Nursing Home.
