He was predeceased by: his father Freddy Fuqua; his nephew Tallen Dyer; and his grandparents, Fred, Lucille Fuqua, Billy and Beatrice Roberts.
He is survived by: his mother Diane Roberts Fuqua; his children, Jaxon Rhea of McMinnville, Trenton Fuqua of McMinnville and Raelyn Fuqua of McMinnville; and his siblings, Cindy Callendar (David) of Manchester, James Martin (Sherry) of Morrison, Chris Fuqua (Lori) of McMinnville, Crystal Campbell (Anthony) of McMinnville, Jaime Fuqua Judkins of McMinnville and Tammy Fitts of McMinnville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Freedom Life Church (4023 Smithville Hwy, McMinnville, TN 37110). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Gardens.
Due to the untimely passing of Stephen, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woodbury Funeral Home to help his family with funeral expenses.
