It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Lynn Deeter of Medina, Tennessee, who passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Gary's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Gary's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Val Deeter and Charles; and his sister Marquita Lee Carter. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Deeter; his daughter Ashley Lynn Deeter Cooper (Tyler) of Medina; his sisters, Debbie Andrews of Paris and Glenn "Train" Lee (Anna) of Paris; and his grandchild Marley Blair Cooper. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the McEvoy Funeral Home (507 W Washington St, Paris, TN 38242). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
