He is survived by: his wife Vickie Carol Carter (Buchanan); his sons, Matthew Lynn Carter (Heather) and Michael Lee Carter (Alicia); his sisters, Barbara Sampson and Nancy West; and his grandchildren, Hayden, Lauren, Ruby, Julie and Joseph Carter.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home (303 E Church Ave, Medina, TN 38355). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
