It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valentine George Ziegler (Medina, Tennessee), born in Highland, Illinois, who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Mae Ziegler (Wehrle); his parents, Valentine Ziegler and Lena Ziegler (Gloor); and his sisters, Gloria Miles (Ziegler) and Shirley Brown McCoy (Ziegler).
He is survived by: his sons, Mike Ziegler (Linda) and Roger Ziegler (Paula); his granddaughters, Laura Jenkins (Adrian), Lisa Hopkins (Ryan), Holly Jones (Jonathan) and Heather Rainey (Dustin); and his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Cotner (Jacob), Daulton Hopkins, Dylan Jenkins, Lane Hopkins, Jackson Jones, Josie Jones, Hudson Jones, EmK Rainey, Raylin Rainey and Lennox Rainey.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Mt. Zion Cemetery (125 Mt Zion Rd, Medina, TN 38355).
