It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cleavland Ray Wilson (Medon, Tennessee), born in Madison, Tennessee, who passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Joseph Wilson and Mellie Hammers Wilson; and his wife Gail Sterling Wilson. He is survived by: his children, Sheila Phillips Williams (Mike), Andrea Pounds of Humboldt and Jerold Wilson (Jana); his sister Jane Ellis (George); his grandchildren, Justin Wilson, Ashley, Mikiah Wilson, Gabby, Emilee Morphis, Richard Ian Williams, Leigha and Michael Seth Williams; his great grandchildren, Tiffany Wilson, Jake Wilson, Millie Morphis, Esaias Morphis, Harper Wilson, Harlee Kate Williams and Bradley Layne Williams; and his son Joseph Timothy Wilson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calendar New Union Baptist Church (1635 Verles King Rd, Medon, TN 38356). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 4:15 PM at the New Union Cemetery.
