Alfred leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Alfred’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Alfred will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gretchen Stevensen and Alfred Green; his brother Gregory; and his son Albert Spurlock. He is survived by: his aunt Elizabeth Green; his friend Mark Moody; his sibling Ryan; his family Arnetta; his grandchildren, James and Jayna; his son Ryan; and his cousin Darnell Taylor. He is also survived by other cousins, and many dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church (70 N Bellevue Blvd, Memphis, TN 38104).
