He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Brown (Donald), LaGail Truss (Isaac), Al Yates (Chandra) and Dante'Yates; and his siblings, Margaret Black, Juanita Barber (John), Dr. Arlene Collins, Leonard Yates (Bobbie) and Sherman Yates. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren, eleven great great grandchildren.
