Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Alvis Charles Henderson Jr. (Memphis, Tennessee), who passed away at the age of 94, on January 8, 2023. He is survived by: his daughters, Ashley Henderson McHugh of Greenville and Laurie Henderson of Memphis; his grandchildren, Stephen McHugh, Jr. and Margaret McHugh; and his sisters-in-law, Glenda Stewart and Anne Simmons. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to First Baptist Church, Memphis, Tennessee and LeBonheur Children's Hospital.
