With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Amma B. Nichols (Memphis, Tennessee), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Barnbrook and Neva Barnbrook; her husband Joe R. Nichols, Sr.; her son Joe Nichols, Jr.; and her sisters, Marie Davis, Daisy Strong and Nettie Sanders.
She is survived by: her son Donald Ray Nichols (Teresa); and her granddaughters, Audrey Nichols Ragsdale (Justin) and Katherine Nichols Borysiak (Mark).
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Hill East Cemetery (2440 Whitten Rd, Memphis, TN 38133).
In lieu of flowers, Amma asked that donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans online at DAV.ORG.
