He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanche James McClelland Ellis and Howard Cecil McClelland, Jr.; and his brothers, Howard, Jr. (Mack) and Richard. He is survived by: his wife Trudie; his son Andrew "Drew" McClelland, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Madalyn; his grandchildren, Anna James and John Michael (Jack); his brother Tim (Kelly); and his uncle Reverend Robert (Borgne). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
