She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Summerford and Mildred Summerford; and her siblings, Coy Summerford, Jr. and Sandra Langston. She is survived by: her husband John Adamson; her daughters, Cathy Gross (Pete), Mary Edwards (Jimmy) and Sallie Sutton (Robert); her brother Sid Summerford (Beth); her grandchildren, Mary Grace Walters (Jordan), Jay Edwards (Caitlin), John Edwards, Lizzie and Sarah Sutton; and her great grandchildren, Josh, Luke, Ann Catherine Walters and Ruth Edwards.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to Second Presbyterian Church Memphis or The Village at Germantown Foundation.
