She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Blount Turner and Ruth Crenshaw Turner; and her husband Howard "Boots" Whitsitt. She is survived by: her children, Allen Whitsitt (Beth), Bob Whitsitt (Laura) and Liz McEwan (Dan); her grandchildren, Alison Hinson (Gary), Hal Whitsitt, Camille Beilling (Pat), Hannah Knight (Will), Rob Whitsitt, Hastings McEwan, Will McEwan and Luke McEwan; and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Nell Hinson, Olivia, Liam Beilling, Ruby, Millie and Jane Knight.
The family requests that any memorials be sent to The Trezevant Foundation or Methodist LeBonheur Children's Hospital.
